How we verify and rank

Common questions

Do I need venture capital to build a company?

No. Grants, tax credits, customer revenue, loans, crowdfunding and angel investment can all fund a company. Venture capital suits businesses that can grow very large, very fast.

Is the investor ranking a promise of interest?

No. It estimates fit from each investor’s published focus. Read their own pitch instructions before you reach out.

Is my project description sent anywhere?

No. The investor finder reads your text or file in your browser and does not send it to this site.
